Hospitality is not just what I do. It’s who I am.
VISION: To make hospitality better and remind people that even though it’s tough, it’s worth it.
MISSION: To show that hospitality can be done with heart.
My name is Lída Procházková and my whole life is about hospitality. At the age of fifteen, when I chose to study hotel management and tourism, I already knew this was my passion and my calling. Even though people tried to discourage me and said
I was choosing the wrong path, I kept going because even then I had a clear dream: one day, I would own my own hotel.
To get closer to that dream, I decided to experience every role this industry has to offer. I worked as a waitress, barista, bartender, receptionist and kitchen assistant. Later, I moved on to roles such as floor manager and operations manager. I organized events, led teams and carried the responsibility for every detail of the guest experience.
I also fulfilled another dream of mine opening my own café, which I ran for two years. And even though I eventually had to close it due to a tripled rent and obstacles from the landlord, soon after I began receiving calls from other business owners: “Help us, we want to be full too.” Shortly after, I took over and redesigned the concept of a wine bar, which, thanks to those changes, came back to life and turned from loss into profit.
Beyond my work, I have also been shaped by solo traveling, volunteering, and internships in gastronomy around the world. These experiences brought me not only inspiration and knowledge of different cultures, but also a broad network of contacts across continents from small family businesses to luxury hotels.
